A program called QuickView will be copied to the CD and must be installed on your computer in order to use a DRMS imaging CD <br />the first time. Future use of this or other imaging CD's does not require a new installation of the software. <br />2. The CD or DVD that you purchase m= be in the D? . A DVD drive will read a CD or DVD. <br />3. The CD will contain files with the.tif extension. There needs to be an image viewing application for.tif files on your computer that <br />will handle single and mull-page documents. On a Windows XP computer, the default viewing programs are called "Windows Picture <br />and Fax Viewer" or "Paint" and they do not with QuickView. The Imaging Viewer that comes with pre-Windows XP computers <br />does wort DRMS has determined that a program called "hftView", which can be downloaded from hfanView.com, does work with <br />QuickView. After downloading "b*nView", it needs to be c oudguued as your defirult.tif viewer. DRMS does not support or endorse <br />this software and the licensing and registration are the user's responsibility. There are many other program that work as well, such as <br />"Imaging PrcviW and "Imaging for Windows". <br />Instruction@: <br />1. Insert the CD into your computer. <br />2. Allow time for the CD to install. <br />3. Eject the CD fiom the computer. <br />4. Reinsert the CD into the computer. <br />5. You are ready to view the Permit Files. <br />NOTE: A program called QuickView Autoruq which runs the Quickview <br />setup program, has also been copied to this CD. If the Autonm program <br />does NOT work, you will need to manuany install the QuickView progmall, <br />Imtructions for manually installing QuickView are available ups request <br />with the CD or can be viewed at www.minine.state.co.us. <br />The Permit File document Images can be viewed V the reception area of the DRMS oAlee or they can be purchased on a CD or DVD. <br />The CD/DVD purehase cost coven the time and labor of waft the CD.
