Since this was for the sealing of one borehole on a pad that is
already permitted, it was pretty easy. There is a borehole sealing task and a summary sheet. The total increase in liability
is $2,451.00. I will put a copy of the estimate and this e-mail in for scanning. Since the two Excel sheets I am sending
are exactly what I am having scanned, I will not have Alysha send you a copy. Please let me know if you have any other
questions.
From: Brown, Sandy
Sent: Tuesday, November 18, 2008 3:17 PM
To: Talvitie, Marcia; Stark, Jim
Subject: RE: Elk Creek Mine MR-87
Marcia,
I called the revision complete and approved MR-87 last week. We'll have to add the bond cost to the renewal.
Sandy
From: Talvitie, Marcia
Sent: Tuesday, November 18, 2008 3:06 PM
To: Stark, Jim
Cc: Brown, Sandy
Subject: Elk Creek Mine MR-87
Hi Jim,
Oxbow submitted MR-87, which will allow them to drill a utility borehole on the same pad (no new disturbance) as the TR-61
Ventilation Borehole. We called the application Complete on November 13th, and Oxbow would appreciate a Decision to Approve as
quickly as possible. Would it be possible for you to look at the MR-87 application that Sandy has, and provide a reclamation cost
estimate? Thanks; I apologize for not getting this request to you last week.
Marcia
Marcia L.
