Cattany <br />Division Director <br />P '--'CD ®SS.00 per disk DVD @ $20.00 per disk Natural Resource Trustee <br />Please check if you want a copy of the instructions. <br />Computer requirements to use the DBMS document Imaging CD (or DVD): <br />1. A program called QuickView will be copied to the CD and must be installed on your computer in order to use a DRMS imaging CD <br />the first time. Future use of this or other imaging CD's does not require a new installation of the software. <br />2. The CD or DVD that you =19 be in the . A DVD drive will read a CD or DVD. <br />3. The CD will contain files with the.tif extension. There needs to be an image viewing application for.tif files on your computer that <br />will handle single and multi-page documents. On a Windows XP computer, the default viewing programs are called "Windows Picture <br />and Fax Viewer" or "Paint" and they do not with QaickView. The Imaging Viewer that comes with pro-Windows XP computers <br />does work. DRMS has determined that a program called "hfanView", which can be downloaded fiom hfinView.com, does work with <br />QuickView. After downloading "IrfanView", it needs to be contn'gured as your default.tif viewer. DBMS does not support or endorse <br />this software and the licensing and registration are the user's responsibility. There no many other programs that work as well, such as <br />"Imaging ProWW and "Imaging for Windowe. <br />1intructiouss <br />1. Insert the CD into your computer. <br />2. Allow time for the CD to install. <br />3. Eject the CD fiom the computer. <br />4. Reinsert the CD into the computer. <br />5. You are ready to view the Permit Files. <br />NOTE: A program called QuickView Autorun, which runs the QuickVww <br />setup program, has also been copied to this CD. If the Autorun program <br />does NOT work, you will need to manually install the QuickViow Program. <br />Instructions for mumully mstallm QuickView are available upon request <br />with the CD or can be viewed at www.minina.state.co.us. <br />The Permit File document Imago cam be viewed In the reception area of the DBMS otYlee or they can be purchased on a CD or DVD. <br />The CD/DVD purchase cost covers the time and labor-of making the CD.
