Computer requirements to use the DBMS document imaging CD (or DVD): 1. A program called QuickView will be copied to the CD and must be installed on your computer in order to use a DRMS imaging CD the fnat time. The CD will contain !ilea with the.tif extension. There needs to be an image viewing application for.tif files on your computer that will handle single and multi-pp documents. On a Windows XP computer, the default viewing programs are called "Windows Picture and Fax Viewer" or "Paint" mad they do not work with QuwkVww. The Imaging Viewer that comes with pre-Windows XP computers does work. DRMS has determined that a program called "IrfinView", which can be downloaded from IrfsnView.com, does work with QuickView. After downloading "IrfanView", it needs to be cont6avd as your default tif viewer. DRMS does not support or endorse this software and the licensing and registration are the user's responsibility. There are many other programs that work as well, such as "Imaging Preview" and "Imaging for Windows". Instructions: 1. Insert the CD into your computer. 2. Allow time for the CD to install. 3. Eject the CD frrom the computer. 4. Reinsert the CD into the computer. 5. You are ready to view the Permit Files. NOTE: A program called QuickView Autonm, which runs the QuickView setup program, has also been copied to this CD. If the Autonm program does NOT work, you will need to manually install the QuickView program.
