Computer requirements to use the DBMS document imaft CD (or DVD): 1. A program called QuickView will be copied to the CD and must be installed on your computer in order to use a DRMS imaging CD the first time. Future use of this or other imaging CD's does not require a new installation of the software. 2. The CD or DVD that you purchase nW be in the . A DVD drive will read a CD or DVD. 3. The CD will contain filar with the .tif extension. There needs to be an image viewing application for.tif files on your computer that will handle single aid multi-page document. On a Windows.XP computer, the default viewing programs are called "Windows Picture and Fax Viewer" or "Paint" and they do not with QuickView. The Imaging Viewer that comes with pre-Windows XP computers does work. DRMS has determined that a program called "IthnView", which can be downloaded from hfanView.com, does work with QuickView. After downloading "IrfanView", it needs to be coudgured as your default Af viewer. DRMS does not support or endorse this software and the licensing and registration are the user's responsibility. There are many other programs that work as well, such as "Imaging Preview" and "Imaging for Windows". Instructlons: 1. Insert the CD into your computer. 2. Allow time for the CD to install. 3. Eject the CD fiom the computer. 4. Reinsert the CD into the computer. 5. You are ready to view the Permit Files. The Permit File document Images cam be viewed In the reception area of the DBMS oMet or they can be purchased on a CD or DVD. The CD/DVD purchase cost coven the time and labor of making the CD.
