RE: Acreage Reduction Approval, Revision No. AR-01, Permit No. M-1977-493
Dear Mr. Romig:
On May 29, 2001, the Division of Minerals and Geology approved your request to remove 9.95 acres of
undisturbed land from the acreage of affected land included in the Climax Mine reclamation permit.
The 9.95 acres of undisturbed land is located below the pond shop and is outlined and illustrated on the
maps included in the AR-O1 application documents. Through the approval of AR-O1, the affected land
acreage for Climax is reduced to 4629.05 acres. The permit area, defined by the property boundary,
remains at 14,000 acres.
