Please be advised that on February 20, 1997, Climax Molybdenum Company, whose address and
telephone number are P O Box 68, Empire, CO 80438; [phone], filed an Amendment application
to M-77-493, Climax Mine, which is located at or near Section 25, Township 8S, Range 79W, 6th Prime
Meridian, in Summit County. Portions of the mine are also located in Eagle and Lake Counties. The
application decision is scheduled for May 21, 1997.
A copy of the application is available for review at the Summit, Eagle and Lake County Clerk &
Recorder's offices and at the office of the Division of Minerals and Geology, Room 215, 1313 Sherman
Street, Denver, Colorado 80203.
All written comments or objections must be submitted within twenty (20) days of the date of the
