Cattany <br />Division Director <br />Natural Resource Trustee <br />The Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety is proposing to Approve the release of coal <br />exploration bond submitted by Western Fuels-Colorado, LLC for Notice(s) of Intent No. X-2007-142-10. <br />Full Bond Release for plugging and sealing 30 boreholes and topsoil and regrading of associated pads <br />and access roads. Notice of Intent to Explore X-2007-142-10 was approved for 98 sites, however the <br />exploration project was abandoned after drilling 30 exploration holes. The bond was submitted to cover <br />reclamation costs of exploration drill holes in Montrose County. An inspection showed that all <br />disturbance associated with the exploration project has been adequately reclaimed. <br />The legal description for the project is as follows: <br />Section 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, and 23, Township 47 North, Range <br />16 West; Section 1, 12, 13, and 24, Township 47 North, Range 17 West. <br />Any person with an interest which may be adversely affected by this proposed decision may submit <br />written comments to the Division at the address below within 30 days of publication of this proposed <br />decision in the San Miguel Basin Forum. <br />If you have any questions, please feel free to call. <br />Sincerely, <br />Jason D.
