Cattany <br /> Division Director <br />29515 Routt County Road No. 27 Natural Resource Trustee <br />Oak Creek, CO 80467 <br />RE: Third Quarter 2008 Discharge Monitoring Reports, CO-0042161 <br />Dear Mr. Watterson: <br />Twentymile Coal Company (TCC) submitted NPDES Discharge Monitoring Report (DMR), for Third <br />Quarter 2008, Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment CDPS permit no. CO-0042161 on <br />October 30, 2008. Outfall 001A/001 W (Site 115-Fish Creek Borehole) discharged each week in July and <br />August, and the first two weeks of September. Outfall 002A (Sites 3001 and 300E) discharged during third <br />quarter 2008. Clogged piping was identified and repaired for Outfall 002A during July 2008. TCC <br />reported that Outfall 001A had an excursion for 30-day recoverable Iron. TCC suspended discharge from <br />Outfall 001 A upon discovery of the excursion. No excursion of the parameters was identified for Outfall <br />002A. <br />The reports are in compliance with Rule 4.15.13(2)(iii).
