As a result, Coors Energy
Company (CEC) contacted the appropriate personnel within the company to assure that insurance required
by Rule 2.03.9 remained in effect. CEC found that the insurance policy had been renewed on July 1, 2008
and a new certificate issued at that time. The Division has been unable to find a record of the updated
certificate for 2008. On October 31, 2008, CEC provided an electronic copy of the renewed insurance
certificate via e-mail. The insurance certificate covers the time period from July 1, 2008 through
November 1, 2009 for general liability and for automobile liability. This document is in compliance with
Rule 2.03.9. Thank you for your quick response to verify the required insurance documentation once it was
observed that the copy on file was soon to expire.
Sincerely,
t _
6rviomn H. r7
Protection Specialist
C:/jhb/C81044/Insurance/July 2008-Nov 2008.doc
Office of Office of
Mined Land Reclamation Denver • Grand Junction • Durango Active and Inactive Mines
