III. COMMENTS -COMPLIANCE <br /> Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion of observations made <br /> during the inspection. Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken during the inspection <br /> and the facts or evidence supporting the enforcement action. <br /> This was a partial inspection conducted by Kent Gorham of the Colorado Division of <br /> Reclamation, Mining, and Safety (Division). A final Phase III bond release application (SL- <br /> 06) is now final, pending concurrence from the Office of Surface Mining. Following OSM <br /> concurrence, the only area bonded under the approved permit will be 1.2 acres at the <br /> reclaimed NW-1 ventilation shaft. Ground conditions were dry and the weather was warm <br /> and mild. <br /> Signs and Markers <br /> A new mine identification sign has been posted at the NW-1 ventilation shaft.
