A 10-inch drill hole for breathable air was added adjacent to rock dust
hole RDH-2. Activities associated with these changes account for 0.4 acres of additional
disturbance and 350 cubic yards of cut-and-fill. Map 154 and pages III-26 and III-35 were
modified to address these changes.
A short segment of road was added north of the slot storage to provide a safe winter access for
propane trucks going to the Emergency Discharge Tower. Map 112 was modified to address this
change. No additional disturbance is necessary as the path is across existing disturbance. An
18" X 40' CMP culvert will be placed through the channel that this road will cross. Sizing for
this culvert relies on the justification provided and approved for the 18" culvert immediately
downstream.
If you have any further questions please contact me at 970-675-4322.
Thanks.
Sincerely,
Scott Wanstedt
Environmental Engineer
swanstedt@deserado.com
enc:
cc: Jeff Dubbert
Paul Daggett - BLM
