BRENT PIT INSPECTION <br />DATE: AUGUST 8, 2008 <br />CORRECTIVE ACTION <br />Lincoln County ceased any activity regarding hauling ground up asphalt and mixing it <br />with mined material upon receipt of this Inspection Report. The Board Of County <br />Commissioners instructed the Road and Bridge foremen that this activity could no longer <br />be allowed. All traces of the ground up asphalt is to be removed from the pit along with <br />all the mixed material. No activity of this kind will be allowed in a Lincoln County pit <br />again. Also, the mound of asphalt (see Figure 1) of the report found in the west portion of <br />pit will also be removed from the pit regardless of whether the conversion is approved or <br />not.
