The Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety received BRL's application for TR-50
on 12-Sep-2008, and determined the application to be complete for purposes of filing on
18-Sep-2008. Proof of publication of the notice, as required by Rule 2.08.4(6)(b)(i), was
received from J.E. Stover and Associates on 06-Oct-2008.
The proposed TR-50, which provides for the installation of two new exploration
boreholes to the east and west of Stevens Gulch Road, has been reviewed for adequacy
with respect to the Colorado Surface Coal Mining Act and Regulations. Comments
prepared by the Division and also those received from other agencies are presented here
for your consideration.

The Office of Archaeology and Historic Preservation responded to our notice of TR-50 in
a letter received by the Division on 16-Oct-2008 (see letter, attached).
