Outfall 001A/001W discharged each week in July and August, and the first two weeks in
September. Note that an exceedance was detected for the 30 day average of total recoverable
iron. Discharge to the receiving water was subsequently stopped the second week in September
and has not resumed to date. No further discharge is anticipated from the site until the spring
runoff in May 2009. WET testing was conducted in September for 001W. Analytical results
indicated that the effluent was not acutely toxic to Cerodaphnia. A copy of the laboratory test
result is attached.
Outfall 002A (sites 3001 and 300E). 300E did not appear to flow during July, apparently due to
clogged piping which subsequently received maintenance. The site flowed during the remainder
of the period. No permit exceedances were noted.
Very y? truly your ,
Brian A.
