The use of the mined land following reclamation with be rangeland <br />(pasture for cows). <br />B.) No. We will not be mining all the way to the permit boundaries and will <br />confine our mining to an area sufficiently to the interior of the permitted <br />area to allow the 3:1 slope. <br />C.) We shall follow the recommendations of the Division as enumerated in <br />your letter of October 24, 2008. <br />D.) We will commit to salvaging as much topsoil that is available and <br />spreading all available topsoil 3-10 inches over the entire affected area. <br />E.) Employees from the Bent County Road and Bridge Department and the <br />Bent County Board of Commissioners will constantly be monitoring the <br />permitted area for weed control. Application of approved chemicals will be <br />applied by the Road and Bridge personnel. In the event some weed <br />species cannot be controlled by county personnel the services of a <br />licensed commercial applicator will be retained. <br />Sincerely, <br />G . ?- <br />Frank R.
