i Exhibit "B" <br />Palmer Pipe & Construction <br />Site Description <br />The Affected Acreage is located in the SW corner of the Fork Horn Mesa <br />Subdivision. The pre-stockpiling use of the land was Residential Development and <br />the land will be returned to the same use post-stockpiling with reclamation work <br />sufficient to control erosion and weeds per Fork Horn Mesa La Plata County <br />project representations and recorded Covenants. <br />The vegetation was native grasses and noxious weeds. Weeds have been bi-annually <br />sprayed and this effort will continue. Reseeding will be with native grasses as <br />shown in Exhibit "D". <br />The soils are typical, highly expansive clay. There is a soils map attached to this <br />Exhibit "B". <br />• Permanent Man-Made structures and the owners are identified on the plat map <br />included in Exhibit "E" and letter to those owners are attached as Exhibit "L". They <br />are identified as: <br />1. BP Amoco - pipeline <br />2. Williams - pipeline <br />3. La Plata County - County Road 308 <br />4. LPEA - electric lines <br />5. Bellino Family Trust - fence & driveway <br />6. SUIT - fence <br />There are no water resources in the area that would be in any way affected by the <br />proposed operation. While there are water resources within 1000 feet, the <br />Affected Area does not drain to them and will not present any run-off issues due <br />to the low impact nature of the activity and reclamation. The Affected Area drains <br />to natural drainage (if at all) and not in to any irrigation ditches or the pond. <br />Include in this Exhibit "B" is a La Plata County GI5 map showing critical habitat <br />• lines (green & yellow). The Affected Area is within the area delineated with a red <br />line - a "Low" critical habitat area.
