Section 2
Topaz Mine
2.5 Conclusions and Recommendations
CDM reviewed Tetra Tech's surface water control structure designs (Tetra Tech 2007)
for the Topaz Mine. Based on our review, CDM recommends a grass-lined channel
with a depth of 2.5-feet for Channels 1 and 2. CDM also concludes the following
regarding Tetra Tech's drainage report for the Topaz Mine:
1. The proposed berm elevation of Basin 3 is sufficient to contain the 100-year,
24-hour storm event.
2. The proposed catchment basin of Basin 4 is sufficient to contain the 100-year,
24-hour storm event.
A plan view of the catch basin and channels is included as Exhibit A-1 and drainage
feature details and cross sections are included in Exhibit A-2.
??i-?
2-5
0: 84988 - Denison\7ask Order 1 - Sunday Mines Drainage Study\Report\Final ReportiFinal Sunday Mines Drainage Report_052208.dm
