Box 100 Natural Resource Trustee <br />Eads, CO 81036 <br />Re: Schmidt Gravel Pit; DRMS File No. M-2000-048; Receipt of Corrective Action <br />Documentation <br />Dear Mr. Watts, <br />The Division received Kiowa County's above referenced response in regard to <br />Compliance Problems 1 and 2 identified in the Division's report of the inspection that <br />was conducted on August 28, 2008. The status of the corrective actions reported by the <br />County in regard to these problems is as follows: <br />Compliance Problem 1: Failure to post a permit sign at the entrance to the site. <br />This problem is considered abated as a result of the County's photographic <br />documentation of the permit sign. <br />Compliance Problem 2: Failure to delineate the permit boundary with markers. <br />This problem is considered abated as a result of the County's photographic <br />documentation of the boundary markers. <br />If you have any questions, please contact me at (303) 866-3567 x8116 <br />Sinc r ly, <br />r <br />Michael A.
