Indeed, we have <br />been told that the resource is largely exhausted. <br />To the extent there have been any sales of material, they have been of material that was stockpiled at <br />the site since before it ceased operations in the mid 1990s. <br />This is apparently the case of the recent activity at this pit. Since our letter to DBMS, there has been a <br />flurry of activity with trucks going in and out. We are told this is simply trucking of old stockpiled material <br />to use as fill on a project at the Western State campus. <br />It is causing some significant dust concern, however, as you can see from the attached photographs <br />taken last week. <br />I look forward to hearing from you. <br />Sincerely, <br />Luke <br />Luke J.
