2.0 VEGETATION SAMPLING METHODOLGY

Methods utilized by Cedar Creek to evaluate the baseline vegetation resources of the
proposed Bowie project area followed accepted scientific procedures common to the discipline
and are fully detailed in Appendix A. These methods are in general compliance with techniques
suggested in CDMG's Rules and Regulations as well as various promulgated guidelines. In
addition, methods were designed to not only describe the baseline floral resources of the project
area, but to facilitate establishment of reference areas that will eventually be utilized to track the
progress and eventual success of revegetation efforts.
