<br />~~ <br />• <br />entire wetland area exhibited nearly identical characteristics. The primary difference was the <br />species of wetland vegetation dominating at any one particular location. <br />It was noted that mine dewatering discharge or storm water discharge entered the drainage <br />at a mid-point along the surveyed area. Based on deposited material at the upper end of the <br />wetland, it appears that at least some storm water is directed into the drainage upgradient of the <br />wetland as well. Given these "supplemental" sources of water, the expressed wetland is most <br />likely larger than would occur naturally.
