Sherman
Executive Director
Ronald W. Cattany
Division Director
Natural Resource Trustee
On October 6th, 2008 the Division received your letter dated October 3rd, 2008 requesting
full release of the above referenced mine site. Per Rule 4.17.1 of the Mineral Rules and
Regulations of the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board for the Extraction of
Construction Materials, when the operator believes that they have completed all the
requirements of the reclamation plan, they can request a release from their reclamation
responsibilities by submitting a written notice to the Division. With this notice, the
name, address and phone number of the owners of record of the land must be included.
Also, the written notice must be sent by Certified Mail and be separate from other types
of communication with the Office.
