MANAGEMENT <br />Stipulation No. 58 requires the Operator to provide an amended reclamation plan for <br />the cropland areas at the loadout facility by December 30, 2008. On behalf of Bowie <br />Resources LLC (BRL), enclosed is an application for a technical revision to incorporate <br />additional details regarding soil handling, soil amendments and seeding for the <br />reclamation work to be performed at the loadout facility. The following items explain the <br />proposed changes to the reclamation plan: <br />Volume I, pages 71 i and 82 were amended to indicate the reclamation plan <br />for the loadout is presented in Volume 7. <br />2. Ms. Robbie Baird-LeValley (874-2195) with the CSU extension service was <br />contacted regarding expected yield from the irrigated pasture. She indicated <br />that irrigated pasture should yield a first cutting of 1.5 tons per acre per year. <br />This 1.5 ton per acre yield will be utilized as the production standard for the <br />irrigated cropland. Pages 2.05-27 and 28 were amended to explain the <br />production standard and sampling methods. <br />3. David Dearstyne with the USDA and Jim Sharkoff, State Conservation <br />Agronomist, USDA, NRCS, provided some recommendations regarding soil <br />amendments to improve the soil for reclamation. Mr. Dearstyne's and Mr. <br />Sharkoff's a-mails are incorporated into the permit at Exhibit 14. Pages 2.05- <br />29 & 29i were amended to discuss soil amendments. <br />4. A brass impact sprinkler system will be utilized on the irrigated pasture. See <br />amended page 2.05-26.
