Box 161 <br /> Silt, Colorado 81652 <br /> has filed a renewal application with the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation <br /> Division to continue conducting underground coal mining operations in <br /> Section 24, T5S, R92W and Section 19, 175S, R91W, 6th P.M. , Garfield <br /> County, Colorado, more specifically described as follows: <br /> Commencing at a point which bears S6025'08"W„ 483' + from the <br /> NE corner of Section 24; thence south a distance of 905'+; thence <br /> S89 27'34"E a distance of 2,650'+; thence south a distance of <br /> 975'+; thence west a distance of .4,160'+; thence south a distance <br /> of 395'+; thence west a distancg, of 740"+; thence N5023'22"E a <br /> distance of 2,662'+; thence S80 04'26"E a distance of 2,030'+ <br /> to the point of beginning. <br /> The underground mining operation is located approximately 3.75 miles <br /> north of Silt, Colorado. Access to the site is via Garfield County <br /> Road 237. The distrubed area is approximately 1500feet south of the <br /> Grass Valley Reservoir.
