Division Director <br />P.O.Box 191 Natural Resource Trustee <br />Victor, Colorado 80860 <br />Re: Permit No. M-1980-244, Cresson Project Amendment # 9. proposed Financial warranty. <br />Dear Mr. Goodrich: <br />On October 17, 2008, the Division of Reclamation Mining and Safety sent the Rationale to Recommend <br />Approval over objections, to the Mined Land Reclamation Board, to all the parties of Amendment # 9 <br />application, File No. M-1980-244. The total financial warranty if the Amendment # 9 application is <br />approved by the Board, at the November 13/14 2008, hearing dates, in Cripple Creek Colorado, will be <br />$97,502,035.00. <br />At present, the Division is holding a financial warranty in the amount of $44,953,871.00, which covers the <br />anticipated disturbances approved under Amendment # 8.
