5) Areas 1 and 2 - Section 6 is in R 15 W, as opposed to R 158 W. Please correct
this typographical error.
6) Area 1 - The bearing given from the NE corner of Section to the point of
beginning does not appear to be correct. Please review this bearing, and revise
as necessary.
7) Area 2 - The distance given from the NE corner of Section 6 to the point of
beginning may not be correct. Please review, and revise if necessary.
Descriptions - Phase 2
8) Area 1 - Please verify the distance from the NE corner of Section 6 to the point
of beginning, and revise if necessary.
9) Areas 1 thru 6 - Section 6 is in R 15 W, as opposed to R 158 W. Please correct
this typographical error.
10) Areas 7 and 8 - These areas are shown on Map R-2 and described in the table on
Page 11 of the application. Please provide a written description of the
dimensions of these areas (County Roads BB, 2700, and Sr" Avenue) if they are
to be included in SL-11.
11) Page 9 - Dates Reclamation Work Performed - Map R-1 actually shows the years
that each Phase 1 area achieved bond release (which may or may not be the year
that each area was reclaimed). Please verify, and modify the text if necessary.
Contrary to the application, Map R-2 does not show the years that each Phase 2
area was reclaimed; the statement is in error. Please delete the statement, or
revise Map R-2 accordingly.
12) Page 9 - Description of Bond Release Amount: See preceding comment
regarding Map R-2.
13) Phase 2 Mine Areas (Page 10) - Areas 7 (2700 Road and BB Road) is included in
this table, and is also shown on Map R-2. The application does not elsewhere
refer to Area 7. The table on page 10 comments, for area 7, "Road in final
contour and condition according to permit." Please elaborate on to what
`permit" this comment refers. Section 2.05.3(3)-8 of the PAP includes SU-99-
0834, the special use permit with Montrose County, approved on 21-Oct-1999. It
makes reference to various specifications to be used in construction of the county
roads, but contains no design details (roadway plan, profile, width, layer
thicknesses, right-of-way width, etc.). Please provide the Division with the
