Cattany <br />539 Barclay Street Division Director <br />Craig, Colorado 81625 Natural Resource Trustee <br />Re: Martin Pit, Permit No. M-199-140, Forward of Inspection Report Noting <br />Conditions of Concern. <br />Dear Mr. Wilson, <br />The Division of Reclamation Mining and Safety is forwarding to Moffat County Weed <br />Management the attached inspection report. On September 30, 2008 staff conducted a <br />normal monitoring inspection of the Martin Pit, permit number M-1990-140 operated by <br />Duran and Pearce contractors and found issues that may or may not concern Moffat <br />County. Specifically areas of the pit have been infested with Canadian or musk thistle. <br />The operator has been advised to contact you to develop a plan to eradicate the noxious <br />weed.
