Cattany <br />Division Director <br />Re: Carbon Junction Mine Permit C-92-080) Natural Resource Trustee <br />Bond Release Application SL-4, Completeness Determination <br />Dear Mr. Savage: <br />We have received the notarized statement and documentation of postmining land use <br />requested in our letter of September 26, 2008. Our review indicates that all preliminary items <br />required by Rule 3.03.2(1) regarding bond release applications and contents, have been <br />submitted. Thus, your application has been deemed complete for the purposes of filing on <br />October 10, 2008. All review and comment periods as provided in the Act and the <br />Regulations promulgated thereunder initiate from this date of filing. <br />The staff is currently reviewing your bond release application to determine whether the <br />items you have submitted are adequate in terms of meeting the requirements of the Act and <br />the Regulations. The bond release inspection is tentatively scheduled for 9:00 am on <br />October 29, 2008. The inspection will be conducted then unless weather conditions do not <br />allow or if it is necessary to re-schedule the inspection to allow your participation. Please <br />notify us as soon as possible if you need to re-schedule.
