The Bent County Pit is in the process of reclamation and has been re-seeded. It
is not known at this time just how successful the reseeding ha been as Bent
County ha had minimal moisture over the course of this year.
There as no mining activity at this pit over the past 12 months; a small amount of
stockpiled materials remain within the pit area.
