The Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety has completed the review of the above referenced Notice of
intent application. It appears that all issues have been addressed and the application meets the requirements of the
Act and Rules. Therefore staff is pleased to inform American Shale Oil LLC that the AMSO RD&D Project -
Phase I is gpproved.
American Shale Oil, LLC has accepted the bond estimate of $392,100.00. The BLM has concurred on the bond
amount. Please submit the proper bond amount to the Division's Denver Office, Attention Elizabeth Taliaferro.
