Sherman <br />Executive Director <br />Ronald W. Cattany <br />Division Director <br />Natural Resource Trustee <br />Trapper Mining, Inc. has applied for a bond release at the Trapper Mine. The bond release application <br />was found complete by this Division on October 6, 2008. Trapper Mine is requesting a Phase III Bond <br />Release of 305.2 acres of rangeland in Ashmore, Derringer and Hawkin Pits. All of the lands included <br />in the request for Phase III Bond Release consideration were released of Phase I and II bond Liability <br />with approvals of the SL-5 and SL-6 bond release applications. The surface ownership is State and <br />private, and the coal mined was Federal, state and private. <br />We will contact you to advise you of the Division's required bond release inspection of the site as soon <br />as it has been scheduled.
