At present time, the majority of the old route
is a horse/foot trail, no motorized travel is permitted. The geologic hazards in the drainage are
still active and slumping occurs on a regular basis.
Because of the existing condition in Hubbard Creek, it would be highly unlikely that Bowie
Resources would be granted approval to construct a route sufficient enough on USFS lands to
allow for drilling a monitoring well along Hubbard Creek in the area needed for PR-11.
Please contact my minerals staff if you have any questions or concerns.
Sincerely,
; LORE P AULSON
Acting District Ranger
cc: Bill Bear
Caring for the Land and Serving People Printed on Recycled Paper fd4v
