6.4 SPECIFIC EXHIBIT REQUIREMENTS - REGULAR 112 OPERATIONS
Reclamation Permit Application Form
On the first page of the Reclamation Application Form in section 3, the first blank for
permitted acres should be zero as there is no existing permit. The second blank (3.1) for
this section should read +80.9 acres as this is the total amount of permitted acres you
would like to add with your application. The third blank (3.2) should be the total
permitted acres which will still be 80.9 acres. Please revise this section accordingly.
Please change the primary future post-mining land use (section 12, page 4) from
pastureland to rangeland to match the figures and text in the rest of the application.
Please re-submit these two pages with these changes for the updated site file.
6.4.1 EXHIBIT A - Legal Description
This section is adequate as submitted.
6.4.2 EXHIBIT B - Index Map
This section is adequate as submitted.
6.4.3 EXHIBIT C - Pre-mining and Mining Plan Map(s) of Affected Lands
This exhibit will require just a few modifications before it can be approved. First, the
topsoil and overburden piles will need to stay within the affected area of the permit
boundary (inside the 200' buffer area you have marked, not between the buffer line and
the property line). Secondly, you will need to show the route for the access road that you
will be using to get to and from the pit. Lastly, you will need to clearly show the extent
of the prior pit disturbance, how much of that area will be within your proposed new
operation, and how it relates to the 200' buffer area. You will be responsible for the
reclamation of any of the areas of the former operation you re-disturb, so if you want to
leave out areas of the former pit, you will need to show this clearly on this map.
