Reve etg ation: Vegetation is well established on the Development Waste Pile seeded in 2003, The
portion of the pile seeded in 2007 is beginning to show establishment of permanent species. Annual
weeds present are typical of first growing season and are not a concern. A small patch of Canada thistle
was observed near the west portal air shaft..
Reclamation Success: The reclaimed portions of the site appear stable with few erosional features.
Vegetation is becoming established. Regrading of the west explosives storage area and west fan area has
stalled pending operator's decision on management of the property.
