The Corporate Surety Bond Number is 6510715.
Upon further evaluation of the project, it was determined that the technical, logistical, and
economic issues related to this project render it infeasible at this time. Therefore, CCR has
decided to cancel the project. There was no disturbance or drilling activity by CCR on the
site. All disturbances were preexisting by the Hill Ranch, landowner, and Pioneer Energy,
the CBM operator. Since no disturbance or drilling activity was conducted by CCR, the
release of the full bond amount of $44,832 is requested.
CCR thanks CDRMS for their timely assistance and consideration in processing the original
NOI application and this request. Upon review of this request, please direct any comments,
questions or approval documents to my attention.
Sincerely,
(for Colorado Coal Resources, LLC)
Vern R.
