(Page 2)
MINE ID # OR PROSPECTING ID #: U-9009-087
INSPECTION DATE: 94s.j lfi INSPECTOR' S INITIALS: KAP
OBSERVATIONS
This inspection was conducted as part of the Division of Reclamation, Mining, and Safety's 4-year
monitoring program. Present at the inspection was Kate Pickford, DRMS. Weather at the time of the
inspection was clear, calm, and approximately 75 degrees.
The site is accessed off of CR 119 south of Pagosa Springs. A sign is posted at the entrance by the
County Road and the site is located over one-half mile off of the County Road. Disturbance at the site
consists of an excavated pond, an access road around part of the pond and some stockpiles of
material.
3. The most recent annual report indicates that the bulk of reclamation at the site is complete. An
irrigation system is to be installed at the site and final vegetation should be established once the system
is installed. A pile of PVC pipe was located next to the pond, and this may the pipe intended for the
irrigation system. Vegetation at the site, especially adjacent to the pond, consists primarily of weeds.
4. All activity at the site appears to be within the guidelines of the approved permit. The current bond
amount of $11,760.00 appears to be adequate for the site. The stockpiles of material will need to be
removed and the proper vegetation established prior to release of the site.
Cc: ? CE
? BL
I & E Contact Address ? FS
?
