EXHIBIT D - REMISED RECLAMATION PLAN
Introduction
Review of the existing Golden Wonder reclamation permit identified the need to amend the
reclamation plan since a significant amount of change has, and will occur. Figure BA depicts
the revised, proposed permit area boundary. Additional area was added in order to encompass
the additional area associated with the LAeve13 pad, as well -s the Level 6- access road and
4dditional pad area to compass the Deadiman Gulch channel etc.. Additional detail depicting the
Scuirent permit boundary as it lies in relation to the proposed/amended permit boundary was
incorporated into various Figures (i.e. Figures A.6, B.1 etc.). In relation to the total area depicted
within Figure B.1, there are certain features that are excludedfrom the reclamati oon plan Ras
!follows;
• Level 3 pad and associated features: These features occur within patented ground and
will likely remain much the same; way as they occur now. The original reclamation plan
indicated that disturbed surfaces will be re-seeded and the entire setting will be
maintained to control storm-water. However, the Level 3 area land owner wishes to
retain usable working surfaces and will therefore keep the slope and pad surfaces as is.
Level 3 and Level 6 access roads: Both roads traverse both public and private lands. The
private land owners retain the right of access allowed by these roads, as do the public
land trustees. The private land owners wish to retain the access allowed by the roads. It
is uncertain if the public land trustees need to achieve this same endpoint. Regardless,
the roads are currently (and will remain) in compliance with federal lands - stormwater
standards. The MSHA-related features (berms) will be removed prior to completion of
the reclamation, and used as part of the top-soil/cap for the waste rock reclamation effort
described below. For instance, the existing geotextile channel will be partially reclaimed in 2008 and
2009 in order to accommodate for the `ammended' Deadman gulch channelization project.
This Exhibit was prepared based on the assumption that mining activity at the Golden Wonder
will occur in the same manner as it has historically - as it is described within the existing permit.
In other words, the mine plan has not been amended. Currently, the Golden Wonder is being
2
