EXHIBIT G
Water Information
1 The current pit is being dry mined and the proposed western pit expansion is not anticipated to
encounter groundwater. A nearby well on Todd Camilletti's property (Division of Water
Resources Permit Number 237625) was drilled to a depth of 425 feet in 2002 and did not
encounter groundwater.
The current pit has predominantly internal drainage and the proposed expansion should also have
internal drainage. During large storm or snow melt events it is possible that some runoff will
occur from the pit into an intermittent creek/drainage ditch located to the north of the site.
Connell developed a Stormwater Management Plan for the Camilletti Pit when it acquired
Certification Number COR34-1463 from the Colorado Discharge Permit System. This plan
provides control measures for potential pollutant sources and will be adhered to as much as
possible. A copy of the plan, updated to include the proposed expansion, is provided here for
reference.
The incidental amounts of water that will be used during mining will be primarily for dust
suppression efforts. These waters will be trucked into the site. No wetlands are present within
the current and proposed affected areas.
17
1
1

1
Camilletti Pit
DBMS 112 Permit Amendment
Page 10
