6.3.4 Exhibit D -- Reclamation Plan <br />(1) <br />(a) At the completion of the extraction of gravel material the stored top soil and stored <br />over burden will be spread and used for replanting. <br />(b) Slopes into the mining area will be restored to 3:1 or flatter. <br />(c) As recommended by the District Conservationist NRCS, Greg Langer, the following <br />are excerpts from that recommendation. <br />(i) Following seed mix and application rate <br />Sideouts Grown 4.4 Pls #/Ac <br />Blue Grama 1.1 Pls #/Ac <br />Little Blue Stem 2% Pls #/Ac <br />Sand Bluestein 6.0 Pls #/Ac <br />Western Wheatgrass 6.0 Pls #/Ac <br />(ii) The mining pits will be reseeded at the termination of mining and after the pit <br />side slopes have been restored to 3:1 or flatter. The restored slopes should not <br />require any plowing, chiseling or discing and will be lightly compacted as <br />recommended by the District Conservationist for type and application refer, see (i) <br />above. <br />(iii) Grass species is stated in (i) above. No forb, shrubs or trees are planned. <br />(iv) The grass seed will be broadcast applied at the stated rates in (i) above <br />(v) As recommended by the District Conservationist, weed free mulch will be <br />applied at 4,000 lbs per acre and be crimped into the soil. <br />(vi) No shrubs or trees are planned for this side. <br />(d) The main entrance drive will be the only "road" remaining after mining is complete. <br />There are no ponds currently on the site and no new ponds are anticipated. There are no <br />buildings on the site and no new buildings are anticipated. The 2 intermittent streams <br />that flow through the property and are outside the mine pit area will remain and are not <br />going to be modified by the mining operation. No wildlife use is intended for this site. <br />(e) No wasterock is anticipated from the operation. <br />(2) Costs to reclaim
