6.3.3 Exhibit C - Mining Plan <br />(a) Start - As soon as permit with State and El Paso County are approved <br />End date -- 15 years after permit approved. <br />(b) Topsoil is the thin 4 inch layer, will be removed and stored on the North side of <br />excavation for further re-vegetation. This location is still on the high ridge between <br />intermittent streams and is completely separate from the access road leaving the site in a <br />westerly direction. <br />(c) There is no waste rock over the zone being mined <br />(d) The estimated thickness of the gravel zone to be mined is 30 feet <br />(e) Roads and access routes -- See Exhibit A (3) Pit - See Exhibit A - Attachments <br />Office - no office anticipated -- shop/maintenance building - non anticipated -- plant <br />processing facilities - non anticipated -- underground openings - there will not be any. <br />(f) Dimensions of excavation pit for mining will be 400 feet by 400 feet as shown on <br />attachments in Exhibit A. <br />(g) The existing entrance road to the mining site is a 20 ft. Wide gravel access driveway. <br />No new roads or construction of new roads or improvements to existing roads are <br />anticipated. <br />No drainage or runoff conveyance structures will be built. <br />(h) There will not be any water used during the mining operation. <br />(i) No ground water is anticipated to be encountered. Surface water impact will be <br />negligible due to the mining pits being located on the top of drainage ridges separating <br />the intermittent streams <br />0) No impact to existing water rights is anticipated. <br />(k) No acid or toxic producing materials are anticipated. If encountered disposal will be <br />in accordance with Colorado State Law. <br />(1) the pit sites are on top of the drainage ridge separating the intermittent streams. <br />Impact from mining operations will be minimal. A burm with swale ditch will be <br />constructed on the upstream side of the operation to direct drainage around the mining pit <br />on down stream into the intermittent streams.
