Mr. Eric Scott
September 8, 2008
Page 2
7
CIVIL RESTWRCES,LLC
• Secondary Drinking Water Standards (SDWS) were exceeded for sulfate in well CRMW09. The
sulfate concentration in CMW09 did not exceed the individual well baseline level. The remaining
SDWS parameters tested for did not exceed the SDWS. Additional parameter test results and the
summary of all laboratory analysis results are contained in the attached table.
Figure 1 shows the location of the monitoring wells and the groundwater elevations measured during the
April sampling event. Groundwater contours have been drawn on the figure also based on these
measurements. The hydraulic gradient is generally highest at the southeast comer of the project as it has
been in the past. There is a depression in the groundwater level at the dewatering sites and a mound in the
middle of the site. This has caused the hydraulic gradient to shift to a more westerly and northerly direction
at the site. The results of this sampling event are consistent with anticipated results when the GWSAP was
developed. Further sampling will be completed in July consistent with the approved GWSAP.
Please contact me if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
CIVIL RESOURCES, LLC.
Joseph A.
