&A
Annual Report - Construction Materials Operation
Yule Quarry
Permit Number M-199-058
Colorado Stone Quarries, Inc
August 2008
A. Reclamation accomplished to date
Sierra Minerals Corporation, previous owner of the Yule Quarry operations, established a test plot in
2002. The purpose of the test is to determine if it will be feasible to use existing marble fines for topsoil
from offsite.
The test plot has demonstrated that the Permit specified grasses will grow and survive over a number of
years where the soils are mostly fines. CSQ will continue to monitor the test plot in 2008.
Other grasses and native plants have started growing in many other spots of the property. CSQ will
monitor these as well.
