The fact that your department
failed to air and address these issues prior to any decision is very disturbing to me. This goes against my
understanding of the deliberative process. Secondarily, I am extremely concerned that the necessary number of
affected parties were not properly notified.
This decision was premature, ill considered and it was based upon incomplete information. As a result, you and
your department
will need to be held responsible for the disregard you have demonstrated toward the large number of people
who will most certainly be negatively impacted by your decision if it were allowed to stand.
Tim Wheeler
Subject: Approval of Venture Resources 110(2) permit application, M-2008-037
Date: Fri, 29 Aug 2008 12:12:21 -0600
From: David.Bird@state.co.us
To: jsorensen@co.clear-creek.co.us; timwheeleri@msn.com; geoff@clickbank.com
CC: Tony.Waldron@state.co.us; ventureresources@att.net
Interested parties:
On August 28, 2008, the Division of Reclamation, Mining & Safety approved Venture
Resource's 110(2) mining permit application for the Emma Lode, file no.
