Data Review <br />A. Grounwater Levels <br />Main Mine Site Piezometers and Stone Columns <br />In general, water levels have decreased in the main mine site piezometers during the 2nd Quarter <br />2008. Most piezometers have fallen since annual peak levels at or near the end of March. <br />At some locations during the period, groundwater levels have reached record highs. These locations <br />are included below. <br />01-03 MSB <br />02-04 Main Access Road <br />06-PZ1 North Side MSB <br />98-14 Southwest of Administration Building <br />99-05 Above MSB at Upper Diversion Ditch <br />99-09 Mid-Slope West of C-1 Conveyor <br />MSB-06-02 West of MSB <br />MSB-06-03 West of MSB <br />N3 S Northwest of FW-1 Pond <br />SC-17 Stone Column <br />SC-29 Stone Column <br />SC-30 Stone Column <br />SC-31 Stone Column <br />SC-33 Stone Column <br />SC-34 Stone Column <br />SC-35 Stone Column <br />SC-52 Stone Column <br />SCP-1 Stone Column <br />Furthermore, at other locations during the period, groundwater levels have reached multi-year highs <br />since lows in 2002 and 2003. <br />Sylvester Gulch Piezometers <br />The majority of piezometers measured in Sylvester Gulch have followed their annual groundwater <br />fluctuation trends. In general, piezometers have decreased throughout the quarter from springtime <br />peaks measured in April. At some locations during the period, groundwater levels have reached <br />record highs.
