Please verify which slope value is correct as <br />designed, and label the slope consistently in all views. <br />BRL - The regraded fill slope is shown as 2.51-1:11V in both plan view and <br />section. <br />5. DRMS- The Top of Wall #1 and Top of Wall #2 lines are blue, which is in <br />contrast with the purple color used in the Plan View. Please use one color for <br />the Walls consistently throughout the various views, e.g. purple. <br />BRL - The color of the top of the walls in section D was changed to purple. <br />6. The details provided for the soil nail wall are scant. Please provide the <br />anticipated length of the soil nails, and describe any exterior facing surface <br />for the wall Typical Section B. <br />BRL - A note to provide additional information on the soil nail walls was <br />added between typical Sections A and B. <br />7. DRMS - The details provided for the French drain are scant. Please provide <br />the anticipated width of the French drain, and indicate the size and type of <br />drain pipe, and whether filter fabric will be used around the drain pipe or the <br />washed rock. <br />BRL - Additional details of the French drain are provided on Typical Section <br />B. <br />8. DRMS - The cover letter indicates that the soil slope will be reinforced with <br />riprap, but the typical section does not identify the reinforcing material to be <br />used. Please provide the estimated size of riprap to be used to reinforce the <br />1H:1V slope above the portals, and label the Existing Grade (red line) as <br />such. <br />BRL - The size of the riprap to be used to reinforce the 1 H:1 V slope is <br />specified on Section C. A label was added to identify existing ground. <br />9. DRMS - In the diagrams for Wall #1 and Wall #2, the colors used are <br />inconsistent with the wall colors used elsewhere in the maps. Please use one <br />color for the Walls consistently throughout the various views, e.g. purple. <br />BRL - The color of the top of the walls in section D was changed to purple. <br />10. DRMS - In the Slope diagram, the line colors are reversed from those used in <br />the other Typical Sections. Please change the Existing Grade line color to <br />red, to be consistent with the scheme used elsewhere on the Map.
