Please check one below and return this
form with your payment to DRMS. If a CD is requested and the permit is too large for a CD, you will be called.
Please allow up to 5 business days from the receipt of this signed document for your CD or DVD to be available.
CD @ $5.00 per disk DVD @ $20.00 per disk
__ Please check if you want a copy of the QuickView installation instructions.
Harris D. Sherman
Executive Director
Ronald W_ Cartany
Division Director
Natural Resource Trustee
Computer requirements to use the DRMS document imaging CD (or DVD):
1. A program called QuickView will be copied to the CD and must be installed on your computer in order to use a DRMS imaging CD
the first time. Future use of this or other imaging CD's does not require a new installation of the software.
2. The CD or DVD that you purchase must be in the D: drive. A DVD drive will read a CD or DVD.
3. The CD will contain files with the tif extension. There needs to be an image viewing application for.tif files on your computer that
will handle single and multi-page documents. On a Windows XP computer, the default viewing programs are called "Windows Picture
and Fax Viewer" or "Paint" and they do not work with QuickView. The Imaging Viewer that comes with pre-Windows XP computers
does work. DRMS has determined that a program called "IrfanView", which can be downloaded from lrfanView.com, does work with
QuickView. After downloading "IrfanView", it needs to be configured as your default tif viewer. DRMS does not support or endorse
this software and the licensing and registration are the user's responsibility. There are many other programs that work as well, such as
"Imaging Preview" and "Imaging for Windows".
Instructions.
1. Insert the CD into your computer. NOTE: A program called QuickView Autorun, which runs the QuickView
2, Allow time for the CD to install. setup program, has also been copied to this CD. If the Autorun program
3. Fject the CD from the computer. does NOT work, you will need to manually install the QuickView program
4. Reinsert the CD into the computer. Instructions for manually installing QuickView are available upon request
5, You are ready to view the Permit Files. with the CD or can be viewed at www.minine.state.co.us.
The Permit File document Images can be viewed in the reception area of the DRMS office or they can be purchased on a CD or
DVD. The CD/DVD purchase cost covers the time and labor of making the CD.
