Daniels Sand Pit #2 amendmenf'3.
Permit: M-1973-007S Dear Mr. Ebert:

As we discussed last week, the company is having considerable difficulty contacting the proper people at the
Johnson family to obtain a no taxi.Ze d version of the document that states that Continental Materials will be
responsible for any damages to the Johnson Family Trust property within 200 feet of the affected land. Until that is
done the application cannot be approval. As a result and in behalf of my client, Continental Materials, it is requested
that the period of review be extended to October 31, 2008. Surely it can be accomplished by then, if not sooner. I
have requested this date because I may well be on vacation at the end of September and might not be able to provide
another extension then. In the meantime, if you have a bond calculation please provide me with a copy so I can pass
it on to the company.
Thank you for your consideration.
Respectfully,
Mark A. eifner
cc: Mac Shafer
