A program called QuickView will be copied to the CD and must be installed on your computer in order to use a DMJG imaging CD the <br />first time. Future use ofthis or other imaging CD's does not require a new installation of the software. <br />2. The CU or DVD that you purchase must be in the D: drive. A DVD drive will read a CD or DVD. <br />3. The CD will contain files with the.;f extension. There needs to be an image viewing application for.tif files on your computer that <br />will handle single and multi-page documents. On a Windows XP computer, the default viewing programs are called "Windows Picture <br />and Fax Viewer" or "faint" and they do not work with QuiekView. The Imaging Viewer that comes with pre-Windows XP computers <br />does work. DMG has determined that a program called "IrfanView", which can be downloaded from IrfanView.eom, does work with <br />QuickView. After downloading "IrFknView", it needs to be configured as your defauh .tif viewer. DMG does not support or endorse this <br />software and the licensing and registration are the user's responsibility. There are many other programs that work as well, such as <br />"imaging Preview" and "Imaging for Windows". <br />Instructions: <br />1. Insert the CD into your computer. NOTE: A program called QuickView Autorun, which runs the Quickview <br />2. Allow time for the CD to install. scrap program, has also been copied to this CD. If the Autorm program <br />3. Eject the CD from the computer. does NOT work, you will need to manually install the QuiekView program. <br />4. Reinsert the CD into the computer. Instructions for manually installing QuickView are available upon request <br />5.
