<br />The operator proposes to update
<br />the mine, plan map for, the King 1
<br />Mine in order to show'the extent of
<br />past mining and a change in future
<br />,:mining:
<br />The King Coal Mine is an under-
<br />ground coal mine located in La Pla-
<br />ta County, approximately 7 miles
<br />southwest of Hesperus, Colorado.
<br />'Coal interest is, Federal, and the
<br />surface, affected is Private ;land.
<br />The permit area encompasses ap-
<br />proximately 2,812.g0'acres. '
<br />This proposed decision is based on
